Gartenbau-Versicherung, a specialist insurer for European horticulture, will be represented at the IPM in Essen from 28 to 31 January 2025. The experts in all aspects of insurance can be found in technology hall 3, stand C37. ‘We are looking forward to intensive exchanges with the industry, sharing our knowledge in specialist lectures and being a stop on the daily Speed Learning Tour, which gives young professionals a special trade fair experience,’ said Christian Senft, Chairman of the Board of Gartenbau-Versicherung.


Expertise live: from water damage to agri-PV
The programme of events at the stand includes a short presentation by risk consultant Thomas Stiller. He will be speaking about complex tap water damage on Wednesday, 29 January at 2:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. The horticultural engineer will be paying particular attention to the distinction between insured damage and damage related to renovation backlogs.
On Thursday, Klaus Bingel, horticultural engineer and long-standing risk consultant at Gartenbau-Versicherung, will be providing information on insurance solutions for PV and agri-PV systems from 2:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.


Speed-Learning: an interactive experience not only for young visitors
‘We are excited to see how our Speed Learning contribution is received and look forward to the discussions that will arise from it,’ says Johannes Jares-Schurz, Head of Human Resources Development at Gartenbau-Versicherung. He welcomes the Speed Learning initiative, which the plant school has organised in cooperation with IPM. As a further contribution to the promotion of young talent, risk consultant Fiona Fernandez will talk about her career and her work for Gartenbau-Versicherung at the ‘Beruf + Karriere’ forum on Thursday morning.
