225 years of Krumpholz-Werkzeuge: Traditional company celebrates anniversary with guests from politics and business, business partners and friends

Grafengehaig, September 18, 2024 - Krumpholz-Werkzeuge, one of the leading manufacturers of high-quality hand tools for gardening, forestry and construction, celebrated its 225th anniversary on September 18, 2024. To mark this special occasion, the family-owned company welcomed numerous customers, business partners, friends and guests of honor to a festive anniversary event in Grafengehaig, Upper Franconia.
Among the guests of honor were well-known personalities from politics and business. Particularly noteworthy was the presence of Ilse Aigner, President of the Bavarian State Parliament, and Martin Schöffel, Member of the State Parliament, who acknowledged the outstanding importance of the company for the region and the industry in their speeches. Other representatives of local and regional politics and business also showed their appreciation for the company's long history.

Owner Claus Krumpholz senior, who is the seventh generation to run the company, was visibly moved and proud: “225 years of Krumpholz tools stand for traditional craftsmanship, innovative strength and constant adaptation to the demands of the times. This success story would not have been possible without our loyal customers, partners and our dedicated employees.”
In addition to the official speeches, the celebrations also offered guests an insight into the company's modern and traditional production facility, which has been known for its high-quality and durable tools since it was founded in 1799. Particular emphasis was placed on the sustainable orientation of production, which focuses on the use of regional raw materials and environmentally friendly manufacturing.
In her speech, Ilse Aigner praised the traditional company as a role model for SMEs: “Krumpholz-Werkzeuge proves that tradition and innovation can go hand in hand. Companies like this form the backbone of our economy and stand for regional solidarity, stability and forward-looking ideas.”

With a mixture of tradition, innovation and strong partnerships, Krumpholz-Werkzeuge is optimistic about the future and is focusing on the continuous development of new products and markets in order to remain an important player in the tool industry in the coming decades.
