Landgard has its offices in Straelen-Herongen, and as a modern marketing producer cooperative, it is fully owned by the horticulturists. As one of the largest European marketing organisations for flowers and plants, fruit and vegetables, Landgard generates an annual turnover of over 1.9 billion euros. About 2,600 employees work in the divisions and subsidiaries of the Landgard-Group. With its own brand, Landgard operates 29 Cash & Carry stores within and outside Germany, supplies large organised trade customers with its own fresh produce logistics, from DIY store chains and the food retail industry, garden centres and specialist retailers, and operates the only auction house for potted and flowering plants and cut flowers in Germany.
