Ludlow Jute Mills was founded in 1921 by the Ludlow Corp. of Ludlow, Massachusetts, United States. Now owned by Kankaria family and has continued to be a trailblazer in the development of jute products and the jute industry in India.
At Ludlow, we take pride in innovation. In addition to the traditional applications of jute, such as fabrics for packaging, we have created and perfected products such as special yarn, scrim, and the jute soil saver. An innovation by Ludlow, “soil saver,” our registered trademark, has now become a generic term for soil erosion control.
