Thanks to a long standing and successful partnership between OK Plant - a renowned family business with more than 30 years of experience - and Peter Dekker Installations (PDI), the crops are flourishing and the ties between the two companies are too.

For the past three decades, OK Plant has specialised in cultivating beautiful and elegant plants - primarily orchids -  that naturally enrich habitats. What once began as a modest family business has grown into a company operating from three different locations: ‘s-Gravenzande, Naaldwijk and Maasdijk.

In 2007, Steven paid his first visit to OK Plant while working for another horticultural company. It was only after moving to PDI in 2016 that he got the chance to lead his first project at OK Plant as a contractor: the new building in Naaldwijk. This project marked the beginning of a successful long-term partnership.

In 2020, Steven sold his first renovation project for an old installation at OK Plant in Naaldwijk. As OK Plant continued to grow, so did the collaborative partnership with PDI. In 2021, extensive renovations were carried out at the Maasdijk site, which involved converting all installations to PDI screen installations.

In 2022, the trust placed in PDI’s installations by OK Plant since 2016 led to the largest renovation project to date, at the Nieuwlands Dijk 15 site in 's-Gravenzande. PDI is currently renovating and converting their installations at the Naaldwijk premises. The garden, which was developed in 2007, is undergoing a complete overhaul.

The partnership between OK Plant and PDI is flourishing, thanks to excellent communication and a fruitful exchange of ideas. Steven, who is now also responsible for sales, has been given the creative freedom to realise his vision by Jan Vellekoop. This partnership, based on mutual trust and respect, promises many more years of collective growth and success. Steven is looking forward to continuing this fruitful partnership with Marcel and Rob Olsthoorn at OK Plant.
