The single-flowered variant of the Diamond Collection has been specifically selected for these characteristics, with outstanding longevity and is also suitable for outdoor use when temperature are above 5°C.

Tiger Safari® Collection
This Tiger Safari Collection consists of three single-flowered varieties that are characterized by contrasting flowers with beautiful drawings. These typical flower hearts are similar to the features of a wild animal. The powerful look of the plants fit the strong appearance of the tiger, to which it derives its name.
Tiger Majestic® Collection
The Tiger Majestic Collection is the double-flowered equivalent of the single-flowered series. Due to its double-flowering nature, the shelf life of the plants of this series is relatively long. Meet our latest novelty: the kalanchoë Supernova®. Multiple flowers are merged together, reminding of the breathtaking explosion of a supernova. The kalanchoë Supernova has over 50 petals, the flower size can reach up to 5 cm (2’’) and the shelf life is nearly as limitless as the universe itself.
When we say we are ‘specialists in kalanchoë’, we mean that we are involved in every step op the way: from seed to cutting production and finally production on a large scale, either at our own facilities or at our partners around the world. We are proud to say that we have more than 35 years of experience in cultivating kalanchoë and almost 25 years of experience in kalanchoë breeding.
History
Founder Cor Slijkerman started in 1946 with the cultivation of vegetable crops. After the first greenhouses appeared, Cor started growing gerberas and pot chrysanthemums. His son Johan Slijkerman took over the company, but made a switch to the cultivation of kalanchoë. Johan took the inventive step of starting with breeding of kalanchoë. Nowadays, Stefan Slijkerman (third generation) is in charge of the now internationally operating family company.

The synergy of breeding and production
Since we are both a breeder and grower, we view both processes as inseparably linked. Our breeding is driven by our cultivation experience and product knowledge. Cultivating new unique varieties requires adaptability in our growing process and provides further insight in our product. Production (both nationally and internationally) in its turn provides demands for example 100% biologically cultivated varieties that inspire our breeders to create improved varieties.
