The Landscaping and Ornamental Plant Cultivation Program is one of the first programs of Yalova University.

The Horticulture department, initially operating under the name of Sericulture within Uludağ University Yalova Vocational School, continued its work under the name of Landscaping and Ornamental Plants. With the establishment of Yalova University, it has been producing hundreds of successful individuals for the industry under the same name.

Today, with modern production techniques, the department continues its education in the research and application greenhouse in the best possible way.

As the Department of Park and Garden Plants, our vision is to become an innovative higher education institution that is locally accepted from Yalova province and its surroundings to the national and international level, adheres to knowledge, skills, and ethical rules, and aims for high-quality standards in the field of landscaping and ornamental plants.
