  In this episode of “FROM THE GREENHOUSE”, our presenter Fenia has Michael Hermes as a guest. Michael is Head of Marketing and Communications at Landgard and gives exciting insights into the role of the growers' cooperative for flowers, plants, vegetables and fruit. As Germany's leading marketing organization in horticulture, Landgard has been an integral part of IPM ESSEN for over 40 years. This year, however, there was a special premiere: for the first time, the “Landgard Order Days | Spring Edition” took place in parallel in Hall 1A. In this interview, Michael reveals how this decision came about, what the response was like and what is planned for the future.   In this episode of “FROM THE GREENHOUSE”, we look at one of the most pressing challenges facing the green sector and our time: sustainability. Host Fenia Hirsch has Pierre Adrian Filohn and Robert Luer as guests for an exchange on sustainability and sheds light with them on how the term is to be understood in horticulture in particular. Both are employees of the Center for Business Management in Horticulture and are working on an innovative research project to evaluate sustainability in horticulture.
