The online tool for the digital and legally compliant documentation of plant protection applications, which can be booked via hortigate, has been revised and adapted to current needs. The most striking feature is the new structure, which now also makes it easy to use on mobile devices.
From application planning to correct documentation in just a few clicks
Thanks to the direct integration into PS Info, the information on authorized crop protection products is always up to date. Suitable agents can simply be added to the digital digital pesticide locker. The required agent and water quantities are also calculated automatically for tank mixtures and deducted from the crop.
The scope of documentation, the division of the farm into different areas, employee accounts and much more can be defined in the settings. The system issues a warning if information is missing and provides information on requirements that must be observed.
The data entered is saved permanently and is available for download in pdf format.

What is hortigate?
hortigate is an information system for professional horticulture. General and up-to-date information for all horticultural sectors is available for research around the clock. In hortigate, producers, consultants and researchers in horticulture can find (almost) everything in one place.
Even though the platform is now 20 years old, the information is always up to date. Over the years, the entire system has been constantly expanded in terms of functionality and content.
Many contributions can be accessed free of charge and are available to everyone. These include, above all, test reports and research results from subsidised projects. For example, the hortigate database also contains documents on peat substitutes, energy efficiency, irrigation and Horticulture 4.0.
The information, which is mainly useful for current production processes, can only be read by subscribers. Regional warning-, information- and notification-services can also be booked.
Subscribers can use the info service to be informed about newly published articles. In addition, hortigate offers them a digital library in which interesting articles can be stored.
