Längst ist es nicht mehr nur eine Gruppe von speziellen Naturgarten Liebhabern, die sich mehr Insekten im heimischen Garten wünscht. Unsere Pflanzen sind für alle Gärten und Balkone geeignet.

Regional wild plants - the future oriented product for biodiversity and insect-friendly gardens

Regional wild plants - the future oriented product for biodiversity and insect-friendly gardens

Regional wild plants are a future-oriented product. They perfectly serve the demand for insect-friendly plants for gardens and balconies. The project "Insect haven - with regional wild plants" cooperates with gardeners who want to produce regional wild plants and supports them in the implementation and marketing.

At our booth you will get to know the project and can have a look at some of our wild plants.

Company profile

"Insektenfreude - mit regionalen Wildpflanzen" (Insect haven - with regional wild plants) is a project in which participating perennial nurseries and middlemen bring regional wild perennials to sales outlets such as garden centers and hardware stores. In this way, the plants can be purchased easily, thus creating small insect sanctuaries within residential areas. Together we do good, create "Smallest Insect Conservation Areas" and thus support insects. The nurseries produce regional wild plants and by doing that offer future-oriented quality goods.

The project is to be extended to all of Germany. Interested gardeners are cordially invited to visit us at the IPM booth at Ga 39.

Project executing organisation is the NABU-Naturschutzstation Niederrhein e. V. (NABU nature conservation station Lower Rhine)
This project is funded by the Federal Agency for Nature Conservation with resources from the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection.
The city and district of Kleve and the city of Emmerich are co-financing the project.
