A highlight for all cemetery gardeners at the end of the second day of the fair.
Cemetery gardener Heino Schwarz (Blumen Schwanrz - Schwabach) has been using the RAINOS watering robot from the very beginning (for 4 years now). He reports first-hand on the advantages of autonomous watering of graves or other areas of the garden centre with the RAINOS watering robot from Innok Robotics.
Creative applications and ideas resulting from 4 years of experience with the RAINOS robot will be presented at this lecture at first hand!
General information about the robot:
The RAINOS watering robot from Innok Robotics is revolutionising irrigation in the green industry, particularly in cemeteries or in tree nurseries and parks. It has been further developed for IPM 2025 in such a way that smaller businesses, for example with 200 graves to water, can now also benefit from the robot immediately.
Another new feature is the increased versatility of the RAINOS, as it can now reverse out of narrow paths while maintaining the highest safety standards for people and animals.
The robot navigates autonomously to the areas to be watered and supplies them precisely and individually with the required amount of water. This considerably reduces the workload for staff and reduces water consumption by watering mostly at night and in a targeted manner. When its water tank is empty, the RAINOS automatically refills it at Innok refuelling stations. By using the RAINOS, a cemetery gardening service was able to reduce the amount of work involved in watering by over 70%, while optimising water consumption and tapping into new sources of revenue through watering contracts. Numerous TV stations such as Sat1, WDR and Tagesschau have recently reported on the robot. All the information is available at Innok's stand in Hall 3 – 3A12, directly at the West entrance, or at Innok-Robotics.de.
