SOLO is presenting a full package of new products at this year's IPM in Essen. Among other things, the traditional manufacturer from Sindelfingen is showcasing its new professional battery-powered backpack sprayer 442 with electronic pressure control.
The new 442 model is the flagship among SOLO's battery-powered knapsack sprayers. Designed for professional plant protection tasks, the robust yet lightweight sprayer features practical, well thought-out equipment.
A highlight of the ergonomically designed sprayer is the electronic pressure control in four steps. A digital microcontroller ensures constant pressure regardless of the selected nozzle. This enables reliable, economical and very precise metering of the used agent.
The working pressure can be electronically adjusted between 1 and 4 bar via an electronic control panel with integrated battery charge level indicator.
An 18V lithium-ion exchangeable battery with 2.5 Ah capacity enables long working phases of up to 6 hours, depending on the selected working pressure. A larger 5.0 Ah battery and a quick charger are also available as accessories. These two components provide up to 12 hours of working autonomy with even shorter charging times.
For fatigue-free work, the tank and stand are particularly ergonomically designed and thus ensure a very comfortable feel. The large waist belt, available as an accessory, can be used to further increase wearing comfort.
More focus on battery powered tools made in Germany
SOLO is gradually expanding its battery product range. At the same time, the Sindelfingen-based quality manufacturer of sprayers and mistblowers has strengthened its equipment production at the Sindelfingen plant with investments in new buildings and machinery.
With the new rechargeable battery model EAZY 206, SOLO also offers a practical, smart device for plant protection and fertilization tasks around the house and yard to home users. With a filling volume of 6 L, this very compact and practical battery sprayer offers a real convenient alternative to the widely used manual pressure sprayers in the 5 L class.
The battery-powered backpack sprayer SOLO 441 with 16 L filling volume, which has been successfully established for some time now, gets another compact alternative in the form of the handy 10 L model 411.
SOLO product classic in a completely new design
The world-renowned and successful SOLO mistblowers have been completely redesigned and given the name "evolution". The new look and name are the result of a further developed chassis, newly designed tanks, a revised carrying system and other, more practical details.
The classic SOLO Port 423 evolution mistblower and its big brother the Port 423 evolution MAX have been specially developed for export markets. The Port is flanked by the new Master 466 evolution model, which is also available for the German market also.
The professional pressure sprayers SOLO 456, 457 and 458, known for years for their extraordinary robustness, have been fundamentally revised and now score with a stable, practical stand for even more stability and easier opening. This is now underlined with a new naming: SOLO 256, 257 and 258 are now SOLO's new reference in professional manual pressure sprayers.
SOLO is also repositioning itself in handheld pressure sprayers. The completely redesigned 1.25 and 2 L models for plant protection, as well as models for SOLO's CLEANLINE product range for cleaning and disinfection. For the hand-held models, the focus for SOLO was on an efficient, encapsulated pump and a new, ergonomic handle design that sets haptic standards in this equipment class.
Strengthening the Sindelfingen production site
All new products will be manufactured at the production plant in Sindelfingen in southern Germany. For this purpose, SOLO has invested in a new, over 3,000 m² building for production and logistics as well as in new machines and staff in 2021. With lived "made in Germany" quality, not only all new products but almost the entire product range is now completely manufactured in-house, thus sustainably strengthening the headquarters in Sindelfingen.
